I had a Rogue for a few years. It was a good car when we had two kids. Great gas mileage, low maintenance costs, plenty of space in the back. It didn't feel very stable in high winds or slick roads though. It's not very SUV like to me, it was just like a sedan, but taller. I probably could have gotten three across the back seat, but I'm short, so reaching up and in would've been tough. They may have changed this, I'm not sure, but the visibility out of the back window was really low. The window was so small. Overall it was good, but I would go with something bigger if I had to do it over again, maybe the Murano.
We have a Rogue and we love it. The back window is small, but I've never felt like it's too small. I find it to be very stable and prefer driving it over our Elantra in the winter. The gas mileage is great and it's very comfortable for four people, a bit of a squish to have four adults and a child in a car seat though. We are planning on using it with two kids and hope to find a car seat configuration that will work for three eventually.
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!
We have an Edge and like it. We fit 3 car seats across (Evenflo convertible turned booster, Graco Safeseat and Britax Boulevard) and the kids have leg room even with DH all the way back. Good trunk space. Front seat is roomier than DH's old Explorer. Drives more car like than Explorer/Escape. Decent but not great gas mileage. We have a 2011 -- it was redesigned for 2011 and we did not like the 2010 or older models.
