Bedding help! *PIP*

Ok so for the bedding I'll be ordering a crib skirt & matching changing pad cover through a seller on etsy. I'm also currently crocheting a blanket in a color very, very close to the color of the fabric for the crib skirt. It will just sit on the chair and I'll probably just use it for tummy time until he's older and can actually use it but yeah anyhow. I need help with deciding on something for the actual sheets.

Here is a picture of the fabric and the blanket I'm crocheting.

The blanket has a light gray in it and will have a charcoal edging (I think, haven't decided). I wanted to do a charcoal edging to match the bins that will go in the cubical storage thing we got since I couldn't find a bin that matched this shade of aqua nor could I find a gray light enough to match the gray in the blanket. I also plan to make the hanging tissue paper flower things. I really have no idea what you would call them lol.

So now that you kind of have a visual what would you suggest for crib sheets? We are not doing bumpers and I would get a plain white mesh one but the crib we have it's almost impossible to safely attach it because there are no openings on the end of the crib if this makes sense. Like it's just solid on the ends.

At first I was just going to go with a plain white sheet but the crib itself is white and I'm not sure, I kind of want a little more but I don't want to overdue it. So I was thinking solid gray sheets or white sheets with gray polka dots. But idk if the polka dots might add in a little too much pattern. What would you suggest for the sheets? Lol I hope this post wasn't too long and made sense. I appreciate the help! :)
