DFW IVF clinic recommendations?

Looking at SART numbers to find a clinic there.  Dallas IVF (Dr. Barnett?) seems to have great numbers for women 40 and over.  Someone referred me to Dr.Robert Kaufmann at Fort Worth IVF, but his SART numbers are combined in with an entire hospital system.  Not liking that...

Also been advised to look at Dr. Anil Pinto  at ReProMed, but I can't find any SART data on his website or on SART's.  Any thoughts there?  Or on any of these?

I will be driving 300 miles one way to get IVF at one of these clinics.  Any advice, data, or thoughts are truly appreciated.  Also, what does "reliability range" refer to when looking at the SART data?

Thank you!!!!

We used Dr. Douglas at IVF plano and loved him. His staff is amazing. He's been voted the best by Big D magazine. All his info and stats is on his website. He is affilitated with Plano Presby and has an ART dept in house which is fantastic. GL!

I'm almost positive my brother and his wife used Dr. Barnett. They say he is very quirky, but amazing at his job. He must be since my SIL id 10 weeks with twins.

I didn't use Dr. Barnett, but I did see the other doctor in practice, Dr. Ku. Dr. Ku was an excellent doctor. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. While we eventually got pregnant on our own, they did everything they could to help us on our journey to being parents. Hope you find the doctor that is the right fit for you guys.

I have been to 6 RE's during my 7 years of trying.  In the DFW area, I have been to Kauffmann and he he was very nice and experienced infertility with his wife, but I too felt the numbers were combined with the hospital program plus his office was so far from me (1.5 hours away). I ended up doing 3 clomid cycles with him in 2006 and did not ovulate. I felt his approach was not agressive enough since at that point I had been trying to 2 years and one of my tubes was blocked.

Then I went to Dr. Le in Irving who is very nice, but he jumped to IVF immediately.  His cost for IVF was a great deal compared to other fertility clinics, which kind of made me suspicious. Also, his SART #'s were fantastic (almost 70% success rate for my age group).  I tried for 2 years there and did IVF twice, one FET and none of them got me pregnant and I hyperstimulated once resulting in a cancelled cycle. When I started trying again in 2012 I went back to him and checked out his SART numbers and realized that they weren't the same that had been published a few years ago (for the same years that used to be 70%). I am a statistician for a living, so I really am into numbers and quanitfying data, so I know I didn't make a mistake. I decided not to go back to him and look for another RE. I will say that Dr. Le did find some uterine abnormalities that had not been found at the other RE's I had been to  and I had to have surgery to remove a septum and polyps -- if I had these and got pregnant I would have had issues and potentially miscarriages. However, I never did get pregnant from any of the cycles I did with him.

Finally in 2012 I ended up at Dr. Barnett's office in Frisco.  By this time I was 35 and we tried clomid once and he advised to move to the next step of trying injectibles plus timed intercourse. 1st round and we got pregnant for the first time in 7 years! Unfortunately it ended in a miscarriage. 2nd round we got pregnant - which ended in an early miscarriage. 3rd round we got pregnant and now I am 19 weeks pregnant with a boy.  Obviously after going to so many RE's and not having success it is a miracle that I was able to get pregnant all 3 times we tried with Dr. B, and didn't have to go the most expensive route of IVF.  I wish that one of the 5 dr's I saw previously had recommended this route as it could have save me years of anguish and money.

    Good luck on your journey!

We used Dr. Kaufman at Fort Worth Fertility and I can't say good enough things about him and his staff. We got pregnant with twins after our first IVF cycle!

He and his staff were in constant contact with us and always available for anything we needed. Dr. K even called me on a Sunday evening to check in. He is wonderful please consider him!

I used Dr. Nackley in Bedford.  I just had my baby in April and I was referred to her by friends who had twins and just about everyone else I know who is seeing a fertility specialist sees her!

II used Dr. Goldsten in Frisco and the linnic and the staff was great. I would look at the cclinic statisitics as that was a big reason why we went to see him.. My obbgyn recommendeed his officee as well which-made process easy. I believe they have a money back guarantee IVF program
