  • I hear ya sister. 24 w is about when mine started too and recently it has been kicked up a notch. Mine comes and goes a little - some days seem better than others. I have no advice, just comiserating. Hang in there we're in the home stretch!

  • I hate to be a downer, but the Dr. isn't going to be able to do anything for you. Just try to rest as comfortably as possible. I know it is hard, but try to find a comfortable position to stay in for a while, and make sure to rest a lot. Don't be afraid to ask for help from others, if you can, so that you don't have to be getting up. Good luck! SPD sucks.

I agree with this. Just a few more weeks at most and it will be over. SPD is the main reason I don't sleep much anymore. It sucks but at least you're not alone, just try to rest and relax as much as possible.

Take it easy today. Have you tried sleeping with a pillow between your knees or sitting on an exercise/birthing ball? Once I started doing so my SPD improved. I'm seeing a chiropractor now and I feel less pain after just one visit, but I also try to stay off my feet as much as possible. My OB said he can do nothing for me.

Yeah! I forgot about the exercise ball. That has really helped with my spd, also.

  • Ice your pubic bone as often as possible. I have been seeing a physical therapist for about 3 months now. It's just going to get worse as the baby engages and puts more pressure on you :( Good luck!

  • Thanks ladies. I finally fell asleep at 430 in a chair lol i have been sleeping with my body pillow, wearing a hip brace and resting as much as i can. I stay at home with my almost three year old. I try to get her to bring me toys and only get up to get her food go to the bathroom and do house work. I dont know how much more i can possibly sit around. I will try the ice. Heat doesnt seem to help, diabetes so no epsom salt and i can not get in or out of the tub lol we rent and have the smallest shower tub known to man lol

  • I've been using crutches and house bound since Tuesday. Called the nurse line and they told me to deal with it. I soak in the tub a lot, use ice when I'm on the couch and try to stay off of it. When I feel like I can't walk, I crawl. I stretch and sit on the exercise ball a lot too.

  • It takes me forever to get anywhere.  lol
I have to walk really slow in order for the pain not to take my breath.  My husband wouldn't even let me go to Sams with him today because it would take too long.

Whatever - I'm going to Target by myself on Monday to get a little retail therapy, er exercise.
