TRANQUIL TURTLE!

Whoever was talking about the tranquil turtle yesterday is a genius.

DH and went to get it today, and although 57.00 is ridiculous for any turtle that is not alive, I'm so glad we bought it. It's amazing.

DS is swaddled for the first time since the hospital in an A&A swaddler, with a paci in his mouth (he never takes it), and is fast asleep in his freaking crib.. Not the RnP! --WHAT?!I feel like I won the night time Olympics, I'd like to thank the turtle.

    I did, we bought a white noise machine, but it was obnoxious. The turtle is way more soothing, and the lights are so wonderful. I'm honestly in love with this thing.

    I was just saying, if it wasn't for J13 I would not have survived. Everything that has worked for us was recommended by people on here RnP (no one here uses them) nose frida, and now this glorious turtle.

    As a spendthrift of sorts, I want to give a heads up to those of you ladies who have yet to buy the tranquil turtle: Barnes and Noble sells the turtle for $48.95 and until Sunday, they have a 15% off one item coupon (online code: H55VD77XKN1CS), combine that with your Barnes and Noble card for another 10% off, and you'll end up only paying $36.71. That's the least expensive price I'm seeing it going for anywhere currently (including amazon). I'm pulling the trigger and buying one tomorrow when I'm in the store. :)

    I was thinking about getting one of those for my 2 year old, but I was wondering how durable they are (I haven't seen one in person). Do you think it is strong enough for rough handling? Would it survive being dropped/thrown onto the floor? What about a 45 lb 4 year old sitting on it?

    we bedshare and i think the tranquil turtle helps me more than her. the music mode knocks me right out if ive got a song stuck in my head keeping me awake. and those lights. worth every penny

    whenever we end up sleeping in different rooms i am so buying one for myself. Mr Moon even wants one for the bathroom, haha

    Yeah, you can adjust the volume and it gets pretty loud. You can also adjust the dimness of the lights and whether or not they move. It's pretty sweet :)
