So idk if anyone has posted about this due to me only being on mobile and what not but all my friends and my SO always ask me what it feels like when baby moves.... I never know how to explain it so I'm just curious as to how u would describe LO's movements! :) although I can't explain it my LO sure lets me feel her all the time always out for my attention just like her daddy :)

Re: Baby's movements

  • Well now it's hard to explain because the baby is so much bigger and stronger, but for the first couple of weeks when I started to feel LO I explained to him that it almost feels like a muscle spasm (when the muscle suddenly bunches up and pushes out - painless ones)

  • I used to describe it like there was a little frog jumping around in there but things have gotten much stronger and her movement has changed as she's gotten bigger so I'm not sure how to describe it now.
  • Kicks (and hiccups) feel like flicks... Moving feels like someone moving! Hehe

Make a knuckle or two, and rub it firmly down the side of the person's arm or leg.  It's like that, only from inside.  Oof.

    That's what I usually do/say.

LO has been moving around like crazy these past few days, I feel like the past few days she has grew and got stronger. It's so crazy how you can notice big differences everyday.

I'm 30 weeks, and pumped on my first offspring :D

  • It feels like a fish is flopping around inside of me.

I'll have to remember this... It's just so hard to explain the feeling... It is an awesome one tho :) at least most of the time I could go without the kicks/punches to my ribs and bladder tho lol
  • While it doesn't hurt, for the most part, at 31 weeks it feel like someone elbowing from the inside or seriously trying to plan their escape from my uterus. Other little movements feel like bubbles--like someone farting in a pool.
  • Was thinking about this tonight. Kind of feels like water bed movements. You know how there's a thick piece of plastic and then there's wide sweeping motions with a knobby knee and boney booty;)
