How many eggs have you ladies had vs mature follicles? I guess I am wondering the likelihood of having more than one egg in a follicle.

    I had 15 follicles, around 10 were thought to be mature and at ER we got 5 eggs, only 4 were mature.  I'm not really sure what you are asking.  Each follie had 1 egg.

    I just was wondering how many eggs are in each follicle. I had a friend who did IVF, had 13 follicles, and 29 eggs retrieved. I wondered how common that was.

    It's not that a follicle contains more than one egg, it is that it can be difficult to see all of them on an u/s and follies can catch up after the trigger and end up containing mature eggs. My first cycle, we thought there were fewer mature follies than there were so we got 13 eggs despite thinking there were only 9-10 mature follies. My second cycle, I think they thought there were 15-17 mature follies but we only got 14 eggs.
