Boba 3G weight question

Dang, I had a post all written out then it disappeared. Anyways..
My LO is borderline on the 15lb range where you switch from newborn to the regular setting on the Boba 3g carrier. She seems uncomfortable all scrunched up (her knees are starting to poke out and she tries to stretch her legs) and I want to take her to a craft fair this weekend. I'm considering setting it so her legs dangle and she can be more comfy.
We won't know for sure how much she weighs though till Monday at her dr appt. I have a crappy scale at home & half the time it doesn't work, she's approximately 13-14 lbs id say. She has long, long legs though.
What would you do? Think it's okay to set it for the larger weight or should I just keep her scrunched till I know her weight for sure? I don't want her spine to get messed up...
