Why the eff can't I get an oil change with my lady parts without being asked to buy a million other things?! My DH takes my SUV in and it's fine. Me, I need a new timing belt, my battery lines need cleaning, new wiper blades bc winter is coming?!? Really?! That's the best you can do? My vagina does not cloud my ability to have car knowledge as i grew up with a father and three brothers. I could change my own oil but then disposal and the time...just give me the $19.99 oil change and don't make me kick you in your obviously much smarter weiner. End rant.

    This happens all the time to me! Thank goodness I work at an auto parts company and just keep passing them my card. I usually tell them if they need to source any of those items they can contact me directly and that usually shuts them up! Yes I have a vagina, yes I know about cars! Who would have thought?

    Sometimes it comes in handy. ;)  I went to get my oil changed and the guy gave me free wiper blades and installed my tail light for free.  I had been carting around the new one in my glove box for weeks because I was unmotivated to change it.

    Best post title ever! I feel for ya. I whine to my hubby from time to time about how I'm treated differently/ underestimated just because I'm a girl. Ugh!
