.....everything came back normal.

What a relief....my god the past 2 1/2 weeks have been a nightmare stressful rollercoaster mess...

Other than monitoring the babies growth, she's measuring 2 weeks behind, they said everything looked good.

Thank you everyone again for the t's and p's and for allowing me to vent and post about all this drama...

I will say this, I'll never get the quad screen done again if I have another baby and lack of beside manner from some Dr's really brings on unnecessary stress.

Now can I finally be excited and happy again

Congrats! (And even my doctors curled their lip at the mention of the Quad screen...honestly, I think they believe it causes more problems than solves, & the local clinic offers/promotes the Mat21 over it, so...they are progressing).

SO glad everything came back ok for you! I hope you can enjoy this pregnancy a little more now, with a little less worry.

Great news!! I said the same thing about never getting the quad screen again after bad results but I did anyway. I was making myself more crazy not knowing!

I honestly hope that if we decide to have another baby I'm out of the navy and into a civilian practice. Maybe I'd get screening done but honestly the simple fact that I had high probability for all 3 on the quad test, 2 test for the same "high" numbers and the 3rd for low numbers makes me believe that someone made a mistake or maybe my dating is off but they won't say it is.

Honestly the past 2 weeks have been absolutely horrible for me and I put undue stress onto myself and my baby for what looks like to be nothing.

Anyways I'm happy now and starting to look at baby stuff now that we also know it's going to be a girl.

i went through hell like this too.... i'm telling you, next time i think i'm going to talk to my doctor about skipping the NT and going straight for Harmony. i want to know if theres an issue, but i don't want to be told "elevated risk" when i'm really not, i'm sure you know what i mean there!
