  I haven't taken suppositories, always did shots but I've heard of this happening. Make sure you're not pushing them too far up in there. :-)

  Thanks! i was actually nevous that i didnt push it far enough and was reading about it via Dr google  and it sounds like it can be normal but i havent exactly had normal experiences so i'm really just hoping for the best.  i know the nurse will call back and give me the same speach that it is normal and if it turns bright red or i fill a bad in less than hour to call back. just really scared of course.  if anyone has had this happen and had a positive outcome send those stories my way!

  I had a bit of spotting at 4w4d and I blamed it on a combination of the progesterone suppositories and sex the day before. I had light brown spotting for approximately 24 hours and then it stopped. I haven't had any since and I'm currently 8w2d. I'm not exactly a success story since I haven't passed my loss milestones yet but I wanted to let you know that mine did stop.

  Thanks, i'm also on baby aspirin so i'm hoping its making it just look worse.  the 2nd trip i thought it looked a little thicker but it doesnt seem to be enough to actually show on the pantyliner.  i dont want to leave you all since i just got here

  She actually bless for a couple days and was sure she was losing the baby. She now has a healthy 1 yr old baby girl:-)

  They did, my father in law called an RE at shady Grove and they reached out to my OB saying they recommended so my OB finally prescribed it yesterday. Last night was my 1st time using it.

  I had spotting several different times while on the suppositories. I called the RE and was told to just take it easy, sit down and put my feet up. They were definitely not as bad as I thought they were going to be.

  @katiebartton - this is exactly what I was looking for tonight! I started progesterone on Friday night, and I started "spotting" last night (so, 2 days in). It's weird spotting, though. More like tan/pink/brown drainage. Is this what yours was like? Has it since stopped?
  
  I got the same speech from my nurse - do not worry unless it turns bright red with cramping, yatta yatta! I got my second betas drawn today. I will believe this "spotting" is nothing if those results come back healthy tomorrow!

  Mine was brownish and I swear almost a purple tint. It lasted for 4 hours on Friday and hasn't happened since. I have noticed a light tan discharge though from "leakage" I'm really hoping it was just from the progesterone combined with baby aspirin (making it be even more noticeable). I went and had my blood redone today and should get the results back tomorrow but I'm feeling pretty hopeful and really think it was my bodies reaction to the suppositories. I've been careful each night and don't push in as far as the 1st night and no spotting since!

  I'm on baby aspirin, too. Guess it didn't occur to me that it could be playing a role here?
  
  Funny you mention to not push the progesterone in very far... Last night I tried to get it deep in there, closer to the cervix and all that. Maybe that's the problem! Mission tonight: less deep

  Update: i just received my betas after the bleeding scare.  they went from 228 on wednesday to 3233 yesterday!!! very happy!!! they scheduled my first ultrasound for next week!!! Thank you everyone!
