I have 2 registries, one on Amazon and one at BRU. We did the Amazon as a request from our families for big ticket items and those that like to shop early. Well, I heard from my hostess today that a lot of people have RSVP'd for our shower next Saturday and I'm worried that not enough items are on the BRU. Time is ticking on getting the things shipped in time for Amazon. Should I start to move things over from Amazon to BRU? Should I double up on some items that I know are returnable via Amazon?

    What's the price difference like? I know BRU gives you 10% off what's left on your registry. It's possible people may get you gift cards if they don't buy off the registries. I would try and make things more convientent for yourself not others. That's just me.

    I just put the exact same items on all three registries - BBB, Amazon, and Target - as much as I could. Amazon is far and away cheaper for almost everything, but if someone really really wants to go buy an item from Target, it's not my place to tell them it's cheaper elsewhere. Just keep an eye out and make sure you mark stuff "purchased" if you know it's been bought from a different store.

    Thanks! I think I will double up on a few items to fluff up the BRU registry.

    Amazon does a 10% completion discount, too.  Just FYI.

    I doubled up on all three and when Simone bought something I took it off. My shower was on a Sunday and tons of stuff got bought in Saturday. Even stuff from amazon. You really can't tell who's going to buy what from where is what I learned! Have fun at your shower!!!
