Do Ameda bottles fit on Madela pumps?

I have just started needing to pump and am wondering if Ameda bottles will fit onto my Madela Symphony pump? Also what are the best coolers for keeping the milk in while out and about for up to 12 hours? Thanks!

I have an ameda pump and medela bottles and the bottles fit the pump, so I would assume it works the other way around. I hope that helps.

My ameda pump bottles fit on my Medela PISA but they don't screw on securely. It's like they don't thread all the way.
