Miss A is already 10 days old! New challenge for the weekend: DS has a temp and runny nose. Great to have an infectious toddler who is understandably clingy with mommy in the same house as a nursing 10 day old. Not. Hello big jug of hand sanitizer! Also dealing with the usually unflappable nanny not coping well with DH and I both being home and putting DS off his schedule. As if we should be somewhere else right now? And as if we should hide out in the tiny house so as to not get in the way of their schedule? Actually we do hide out at naptime etc so as not to disturb and that is hard enough. A topic for robust discussion on Monday morning since she raised this on her way out the door yesterday while G was mid-meltdown and we could not meaningfully respond. Ugh.

Sorry about your nanny :-/ I'm sure she didn't mean anything by it. She is probably just frustrated because everything is a little crazy right now and I'm sure it's been difficult for her to deal with too (not anything compared to you, but still). You could look at the bright side and think that at least she's being upfront with you and maybe trying to start a discussion. She could just sit and be all pissy and cranky and you wouldn't know what her problem was. Maybe she wants to try to work out a solution like what you guys have already done for naptime, or maybe it was her nice way of asking for you guys to try and give them a little bit more space if you can? I know that if me, DH, DS, nanny and her son were all home, it would be a bit crowded for my comfort. Maybe you could all sit down and work out a plan to stay out of each other's way a bit?
I'm sorry you're having a hard time. At least you got one cute little girl right there!
