Halloween - Activities

So, we've talked about costumes, but what are you doing for an activity on Halloween? Going to a party? (Kid party or adult party?) Staying home and giving out candy? Taking LO trick-or-treating? (Although maybe the candy would be for you in that case, unless you have older kids too.)

I think we'll hand out candy at our place and go over to a neighbor's for chili and drinks on the porch. We've always been in an apartment with no trick-or-treaters, but we moved into a house in August with tons of young families, so we're excited about getting to participate this year.

    We live in the country, but in our small town there is one street everyone TOT on.  At the end the church has a Trunk or treat.  I will take Abby to that because MIL will know everyone there and she will want to show her off.  Friends of ours live at the other end of the street and usually everyone TOT's up the street to their house and then hangs out.

    We plan to dress LO up and Trick-or-Treat on our street only. After that, we will pass out candy.

    No one in our area TOTs, so we will probably head to a trunk or treat that our friends go to with the little ones.

    We aren't really TOTing this year. Instead we are just taking D around to the IL's various houses and pretend TOTing so I can get the photo ops and get my fix since Halloween is my favorite holiday.

    I LOVE Halloween but IMO she is too young.. I am going to be skipping TOT until she can WANT to go.  I do want to dress her up, that will be my photo op.  I LOVE Halloween too and really am looking forward to the whole thing when she is older
