Magna Tiles

Does anyone have these?  Do your kids play with them?  I want to get them for DD but am so hesitant to invest the money.  TIA!

Re: Magna Tiles

  • We don't have them at home, but DS has had them at his preschool since he was 3.  He loves them and talks about them a lot.

  • They are awesome. Totally worth the money.
  • Two of our friends have them and I'm so glad because I'm cheap and don't want to drop the money on them.  They are really great and all the kids play with them every time we have a gathering at either of their homes.   They are just different and fun.

  • Thanks ladies!  They sound like a good buy.  Of course, I'll get them and my kids will be the only ones not to touch them. :)

  • We have a mid-sized set and I think they set us back nearly $100 but they were worth every penny. Emily, now 7yr still plays with them and Nolan, 2yrs, loves them. We've had them since Emily's 3rd birthday. :)

  • best thing ever! everyone in the house plays with them! worth it to invest in a lot of them...32 is not enough because you can't make much with so few tiles. we have been getting them over the past 3 years for christmas mostly...i think we have 300+. they clean up easily too!
  • Is there a huge difference between them and magnaforms?

I THINK my MIL bought Reese a set of magnaforms for Christmas--and I wanted to know if there is a notable difference.
