Suggestions for a 7 year old bday gift(boy)

Long story short, its our neighbor(living with his grandparents) as his dad is a deadbeat....Hes a cute little kid that has had a rough life....I asked him what he wanted- he didn't care!!  His grandma says hes just happy to have a cake and some friends......He loves soccer/riding bikes/outdoor stuff....Any suggestions...Thanks..

    I know it sounds lame, but my kids love getting gift cards so they can pick something out.  He may really enjoy it especially given the situation.

    When DS was 7, his very favorite thing ever was a remote control monster truck. He played with that thing every.single.day! He made jumps and pits for it, and literally played with it until a wheel fell off like a year later. Hope that helps!

    This too! Does he have any neighborhood friends? They sell the sets that have vests and Velcro darts. DS and his buddies still love those!
