I have the boba and have used it twice this first week with lo. I love it and I can see it becoming an essential. It is heavy material so it will be nice this winter but it could be hot in the summer.
I have the Sakura Bloom sling. My LO has only been in it once, but I can already see it becoming a staple in our relationship. He loves it and it feels awesome to have him snuggled tight to me with my arms free to get other things done.
I used a mony-like wrap and then the baby bjorn and ergo ALL the time with my second child. She lives in those things for 6 months or more! Was really helpful in allowing me to so things and be with my son as well!
I have the k'tan and I love it ! I really only have used it in the kangaroo hold ( I think that's the hold it is) but It has been great! My LO loves to be held so I put him in it when I need to eat or clean or just have use of my arms. Usually he falls asleep in it. I only put him in it when he is sleepy and or in a good mood though ..
I still use it with Molly. It's one of my essentials. I have that and an Ergo. I really prefer the K'Tan when they're small and Ergo once she's bigger.
We have the K'tan also. No other soft carrier to compare it to, but we love it so far and use it every day for a few hours at least. LO is 3 weeks old. My only problem is that sometimes her head gets tilted really far back and it seems uncomfortable. However, this is how she likes to hold her head when we hold her too, so she must like it?
I think anything is better than the Bjorn! I don't have any K'tan experience. I loved my ring sling for DD and wore her in a wrap pretty much too. The ring sling was really fast and easy though and was my favorite with her when she was tiny since I had less time with a 2yo running around. I have a ergo like carrier for when they are bigger that is great after about 6 months if I remember correctly. I would either keep it or exchange for a ring sling.
Re: K'tan users and baby wearers, please advise.
