Did the NIP testing

I had my 12 week ob appt yesterday and was offered the NIP test. I decided to say yes especially since my insurance covered it. So now we wait, 2-3 weeks. I haven't told anyone including DH I had the test drawn. I don't know why I haven't mentioned it unless its because I feel like I'm letting myself believe anything could be wrong. Hoping and prayingu baby is healthy and wonderful :)

    What's the NIP test? Is that like the Mat21?

    Yes. Non invasive prenatal :) I'm not sure what brand but its the same thing

    I had my test today too - blood draw and ultrasound.  It's a bit nerve wracking to have to wait 2-3 weeks!  Trying to stay really positive.  It was great to see the baby moving around :)

    I love seeing that little bundle wiggling :) I've been lucky, 2 appts and 2 ultrasounds. Lol. One thing about it we'll know if we need pink or blue sooner too.

    I should be getting the results from this test (I think mine was Verifi) Friday morning along with the NT scan. I'm nervous but excited.

    I had the Harmony and it took 10 business days to get the results.. so maybe you won't have to wait the entire 3 weeks!
    It was a HUGE relief getting that phone call from the nurse that everything looked "normal". I was a little annoyed that dr who wrote the order was in such a rush that I forgot to mention I'd like to find out the gender, as well.  But that's ok,, hopefully I find that info out tomorrow :)

    I am in the same boat, though we are a few weeks behind you.  I had my blood drawn on Wed and they said they will have the results next week.  By far the most nervous I have been...
