ETA: this is not about sick cruel things parents have purposely done, it's about mistakes they have made.

OP made it sound like the things were done purposefully, so I also was hesitant to read it.
However, everything listed was totally accidental, like accidentally closing fingers in a door.
You know, the things that was all have done or will do eventually.
Anyway, some are a bit funny, as horrible as that sounds.

Uhm someone in the comments said her mom gave her scotch to help her kid with an ache or teething or some shiz and she didn't know it was scotch so she gave it to her and her kid slept for like 23 hours... weirdness.

Yeah. TBH, some of this shit is just plain ignorant. You sat your 6 month old on your countertop and just walked away?? How's that an accident?

Or you left your hot flat iron out on the counter so your 2 year o ld could put it up to his mouth and burn his lips? Hmmm.

I know for sure that I'll never be a perfect parent, but a lot of this stuff should be a no-brainer.

I don't think she left her kid on purpose. I've caught myself almost walking away while DD was on the counter. I've done or almost did most of that stuff. I've also accidently punched both kids in face while zipping them up.

I am trying to figure out the 23 hour thing, if you didn't realize you gave your kid scotch wouldn't that make you freak out?

Right? Even better at the end she goes "I never told anyone haha" so I have to one, assume she's single because I feel like your H would freak out if your kid slept 23 hours randomly, and two, why would she not ask her mom wtf she gave her?
