DD looks like she has been snow skiing. What can I put on her dry cheeks? I have been putting AandD.

Burts Bees has some good sensative lotion for babies. I know that stuff always works for me when I have dry skin.

A tiny dot of aquaphor for babies works great for us with those red chapped cheeks.

I use either Aquaphor or Baby Kisses (made by the people who make Butt Paste). Baby Kisses is specifically for the face and lips.

If lotion doesn't work, try some 1% hydrocortisone.

Aloe. We've used it on DD's diaper rash and on her cheeks....it works wonders and is as natural as you can get!

DS has red cheeks with those tiny red bumps (on his upper legs and arms as well). I forget the name, starts with a K and is a form of eczema, but it's hard to get rid of. Pedi said to use Eucerine Plus, which we just started using. It sticks really well to his skin, where as aquaphore and regular lotion wipe off easily.

I bet you're talking about keratosis pilaris. DS had it for a while too and we used Eucerin.

As far as for dry chapped cheeks, we have used Aquaphor in the past and it's worked fairly well.

We also do A&D/Vaseline or Eucerin. I might have to check out the Aquaphor though b/c I know that is something a lot of people recommend.
