PP bleeding question (TMI)

I'm almost a week PP and wondering how everyone's bleeding is / was at this point?

I'm still bleeding quite a bit, only had one or 2 tiny clots (nurse said nothing under the size of a quarter is worrisome) but I'm having like really red mucusy blood that leaks like dog drool pretty much is the only way to describe it,. (So sorry for the disgusting image I just put in your head) please tell me I'm not the only one experiencing this? Once I wipe a couple times it goes away but pretty much every time I go to the bathroom it's like that! I'm not soaking through pads, I change it every couple hours even though its not soaked but wondering if that seems normal?

I feel so gross with yet again all these new body changes lol I'm leaking bodily fluids from everywhere! Can't wait to feel somewhat normal again.

Well, as I'm a FTM, not sure I can reassure you that it's normal, but at least you're not alone. I had/have the same thing...my time frame has been a bit different though--I'm 3.5 weeks PP and that weird 'dog drool' like stuff (I never would have known how to describe it, but that might do it) started for me at about 2.5 weeks PP and is just now going away ...

I'm glad I'm not alone, definitely not like a menstrual cycle type of bleed but then again I wasn't sure what to expect anyway.

I'm 5 weeks postpartum and my bleeding just stopped in the last few days. At one week my bleeding was just as you described.

I'm 8 days PP and that sounds similar to what I've been having. Day 6 was really light and I got excited that it might be ending but then it all returned with a vengeance yesterday. Hang in there!

That's how I was at that point. The gross mucousy blood lasted for a while. I'm almost 4 weeks pp and still bleeding some (starting to get annoyed!).

I'm 2 weeks and 2 days PP and I'm still wearing a pad all the time. At 1 week I had what you described.

@junewife normal IME. I was red until about 14 days. I am 3 weeks pp today and it's more yellow than anything. I do have some red spotting after a lot of activity. I also started using liners, not pads, today but could have likely switched a day or two ago.

That's pretty much exactly what type of bleeding I've had. I am 2 weeks PP and bleeding has almost stopped, but for the most part it has been bright then faded to dark and has a slimy consistency (ughhh sorry for tmi).
