ABQ Pediatrician Recommendations?

My family and I are moving to ABQ in mid-Nov. We have a one-year old and will be living in the NW. Does anyone know of a fabulous pediatrician in the area?

We just started seeing Dr. Karen Ortiz at Southwest Medical Associates on the Westside. We were previously at this practice (our first doctor left and we switched to another clinic before Dr. Otriz came on board - big mistake, the other office was run terribly). I can say that Southwest Medical is well run, the westside office now has 2 pediatricians, 2 NPs and they will send you to their other location if you need a same day appointment and they cant get you in.

Dr. Ortiz was really great - professional, sweet and took time to really talk to me about Carson's medical history during our visit.

The office is clean, large and the staff is very nice.

I have done a TON of pediatrician research in this town since Carson was born, and I am really happy with our choice to return to Southwest Medical.

I've taken my daughter to After Hours Pediatrics and we're very happy. Their hours are awesome (open nights and weekends) and always find a way to get you in. It seems like we always have to go late at night or the weekend and she loves the PA that works during that time. The MDs on the Westside were great, but I can't remember their names...we moved to the NE side.
