Getting cozy...a little too cozy!

After 2+ months of the crib being assembled, this weeks find my cat lovingly snuggling in the crib with the Sleep Sheep on a football blanket DH put in the crib to let it finish drying after we washed it. I sure hope he doesn't get super comfortable!! I took the blanket out so hopefully the crib will be less appealing to the cat!

    We have to keep the nursery door shut or the cat will claim it as hers.

    DH couldn't find one of our cats a couple of weeks ago. He finally checked the baby's room and low and behold, there was kitty, curled up and content.

    We''ve kept the door closed since then. ;)

    What is it with cats and cribs?!  Ours seems to think this is her own personal (giant) laundry basket.  i've found her in there a few times, and she always just looks at me and chirps hello before i pick her up and take her out.  She's in for a rude awakening when her little sister arrives :)

    I guess I got lucky! My cat decided to jump in the crib before we had a mattress in. He jumped in on the only solid spot, and he got to scared to jump back out because there were openings all around! I haven't caught him in the crib again!
