Dizzy

So, I am EBF.  I pump while at work, but Lily only takes bottles from H.  I am finding that if I do not eat a snack after every nursing or pumping session, I get really dizzy and sick to my stomach.  It gives me a headache.  I am trying to eat healthy, but I have to eat all of the time to not feel that way.  I've started just grabbing anything that can hold me over a little bit.  Is there any way to fix this?  Is anyone else having this problem?

Re: Dizzy

  • I get starving every time I nurse. I haven't gotten dizzy, but I have lots of snacks around so maybe I just haven't gotten to that point yet. Healthy went out the window when LO stopped napping for more than 20 minutes at a time.

  • @smpeachey !! OMG that's how I get too...it's bizzare.

@nikel13 I either eat a gogurt or a Nature Valley granola thin while I pump to re-fuel. They are both low calorie and zero prep time.

  • @nikel13 and @willman2585  another suggestion for snacks is Quaker Real Medleys fruit and nut bars.  Oatmeal for youur supply, nuts for energy and fruit for deliciousness!
