Baby Book "firsts"

Help solve this silly debate between my H and I about the baby book. It has sections for each month where you can list new skills your LO achieved that month. For example, "found her feet!" So my question is, say she rolled over at 15 weeks. Does that go in the 3 month section (because she's not yet 4 months) or does it go in the 4 month section? See what I mean? I said 3 months and my H says 4 because she's working toward 4 months. Now, if I could actually remember to fill out the darn thing, that would be even better!

I would put it under 3 months. And look at it as Month 3-4, 4-5, 5-6, etc.

I would say 3 months but then where do you put the stuff she did between birth and 1 month?

I don't know if I fill mine in right or not but what I do is on his month birthday, I fill in the corresponding page in his baby book. He just turned 4 months Saturday so I filled in the 4 month page with his stats and any firsts. I also try to be good about recording exact dates so I'll write them in there too.
So in your example, I would have written the first roll at 15 weeks in the 4 month section because I would have already filled in the 3 month section. I'd also write (15 weeks) next to it so I knew when it happened.

Mine says the first, second, third month...

So when he turned one month I filled in all the stuff from the previous month. He's three months right now so I've been filling in the fourth month.

So because I confused myself

Birth-1m =1m
1m-2m= 2m
2m-3m= 3m
3m-4m= 4m

He rolled Sept Ninth. He was three months old but it's in his fourth month. Bah. None of it makes sense. It made sense before I was trying to explain.

Baby math doesn't work. My LO will be 16 weeks this coming Monday, but not 4 months till October 3. I do her monthly picture on the 3rd of each month, not the "week birthday" and I always make a little sign that says X months, height and weight. Then I write her likes and dislikes and what's new as far as skills. I think I'm doing it wrong. Or not. Who knows.

I don't think it really matters as long as you are consistent (says the girl who bought a beautiful baby book and has hardly touched it).

this is me too... except the exact dates stuff. I'm not that organized

Hmm, now that really makes sense! Ugh! I don't get baby math at all! Lol. It's like, yes she is 16 weeks old, but not 4 months....so crazy. I count her months every 1st of the month cause she was born June 1st.

I mark stuff down in the current month he is in. For me a month is the 8th - 8th since he was born May 8th.

This is how I do it. She turned 4 months today so anything from now until October 19th I will put under 4 months,

I've solved this problem by not filling out a baby book. I'm making up for it by taking infinity plus one pictures of her a day.

My book is weird. It was given to me by DH's grandmother, and I think it's a tad bit dated. It has a checklist of milestones, and which month they should be performed in. It has a lot of 3 month milestones under seven months, etc. Either the book is wrong or my child is a effing genius.
