I personally am NOT happy with this ridiculous update! It messed with every single thing on the phone ;( also for some unknown reason I am unable to send iMessages from my cell # and it only sends from my iCloud. Ugh I am anti this update ;(
I like it. I think it will take some time to get used to the new interface, but overall I think they added some great features so I am excited about it
I don't have enough memory on my phone to update. (

@mfarmer0811 I transferred a bunch of photos and deleted a few videos my kids never watched to free up space. It won't use up the space once the update is complete, it just needs it for the download - I'm also pretty sure you can do the update through your computer/iTunes and the memory won't be an issue.
Back when I had the 3G I updated as soon as it came out and it destroyed my phone. It was so freaking unbearably slow. I finally had to upgrade the phone a month or two later. I never update right away anymore. We are due for upgrades so I may just wait till I get the 5s.
And reading the replies.
After my fiasco with sims3 I never update until late because I had to install and uninstall ALL my expansions 6... 6!!!!!!! Times. And I have lots of expansions.
I lurk and wait until the bugs are worked out.
And I can think of a couple of times an update has destroyed a computer (software update) to trust like that
DH and I both work in software development (well ok, so he does and I do web design/dev) and have been around enough launches and upgrades to know that no matter how well planned out you might think something is, there will always, always be bugs and kinks in the beginning of product launch. I have never and will never update anything the day it comes out. Let others be the beta testers and then once everything is worked out I'll upgrade.

I love it. I guess I was lucky because I was able to download it right at noon yesterday and only took about 20 minutes total (our internet at home is ridiculously fast). The new look took some getting used to, but it's much easier to get to some features.
I updated both my iphone and my iPad, and I have to say it looks a lot better on the iPhone.
MH texted me yesterday telling me not to install it b/c someone he works with did on his 5 and it screwed the whole phone up. So I'm not doing it until they figure their shit out over there at apple.
I'm still getting used to it.. Took me forever to get my contacts back on my phone, and figuring out Safari has been challenging... I u haven't done so I would suggest updatin as soon as possible, u don't want ur fav apps to become unusable
Admittedly, the new look was initially jarring for me on my 4S...it looks different to me on my husband's 5. But then I gave it a go and it is more aesthetically pleasing to me. I knew the best way to not get too frustrated with the changes is to be informed. I suggest the following to articles for those struggling. Once I understood what changed and how to work with it, I started enjoying it.
I like it. Just don't like that I lost half my apps! Anyone else lose their setting app?
I love it! I thought it lost my apps initially. However, they were just moved a page a way. I also recommend backing up to the iCloud before installing. Lots of cool new features - I love the multitasking ability, quick access to turn on/off wifi/Bluetooth/etc., ability to turn on automatic app updates, and just the look/feel of it. I've had it about a day, and have had no issues so far.

For everyone complaining of losing apps, did you update them before you updated to iOS 7?
