"Are you pregnant???"

So I've been asked several times recently if I'm KTFU as y'all may remember. I had the Mirena put in in January. I even went so far as to take 3 pregnancy tests just to be sure that I am not KU.

I also went to my primary doc bc I am depressed and anxious and my hair is falling out. He did labs and discovered my b12 was low normal and said to take supplements

WELP

I was asked AGAIN if I was KU on Tuesday.

Yes. I have no self esteem now and I'm super self conscious of this gut

Come to find out, Mirena is notorious for abdominal swelling, alopecia, and depression.

Fantastic.

I am getting mine out TODAY at 140.

    I hope once you get that thing out you start feeling better! I had an older man ask me the other day if I was having a boy or a girl. People are rude!

    Am I the only one that had to google alopecia??

    I'm sorry you've been going through this crap, and I hope it gets better right away after removal!

    Can I ask where you learned this stuff about Mirena?  I've had soooooooo many people tell me "Mirena often causes...." but NONE of the info my doctor gave me says any of the things people tell me, and neither does the Mirena site.  Is there like a "Mirena Insider Info" group somewhere or something??
