How lazy am I?

I have three choices for DD's preschool next year. I narrowed it down to two last night. I'm leaning towards one that is 100 dollars a month cheaper than the other, but I'm not choosing it because of that, I want it because they have a uniform and that would make my life a lot easier.
The other one is more expensive, but a good friend who's a teacher recommended it and it's closer to my house (it's less than a block away; the other is two blocks away).
I'm sure DD would love either, but I want a uniform, dammit! I have to make up my mind next week, and I'm torn.

Does anybody have other "How lazy am I" confessions?

  • I don't get how a uniform will make it cheaper for you. DS1 had a uniform for private school and we had to buy the uniform plus all of his regular everyday clothes. Otherwise, you're buying everyday clothes and that's it.

They also required monogrammed uniforms from a certain place vs the plain ones that you can buy at Walmart or TCP so that may be throwing me off.

The uniform makes it easier, not cheaper. It's the tution that's cheaper in the place that has a uniform.

I'm lazy that I like things closer.
The reason I chose those three preschools is that they're close to my house. I like to think that it is a luxury to take DD to school walking, rather than driving her :)

Oh, ok. In that case, I'd see how much the uniforms are going to cost you and if the schools are on the same level for everything else that you're looking for, I'd go with the cheaper one.

Uh, the cheaper one is more traditional and the closer one is more experimental. I don't know...
