I was wondering how to clean my 4 month old's toys that CANNOT be soaked due to having musical things inside, and batteries. I am fine with throwing some things in the wash (playmat and plush toys with nothing in them) but obviously not her Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Love to Play Puppy. I was spraying everything with Lysol Disinfectant Spray For Baby's Room...I have since before she was born...and my husband tells me last night that I am hurting her because it says not to spray it on fabric and to wipe it off before she touches it. Great...now I feel like I have slowly poisoned my child since everything goes in her mouth and I have sprayed it all every weekend! Ugh!
I have read to use a wet wash cloth with some baby soap on it and scrub, and let it air dry
outside in the sun so it naturally disinfects. You can also spray some
white vinegar on it too to kill off any lingering bacteria. Also, baby wipes are good to wipe hard toys as wells as just hot water and soap. Are these the best options??
