Nap mats

Girls who have bought nap mats, where did you get them?  I found some on Target's website, but the one I like is the same one everybody has.  WalMart's are so thin that I can't justify that with the floor Bryson will be sleeping on when he moves to the next room.  I bought all the stuff to make one, but discovered I could get one for close to the same price, so I took it all back since I'm not exactly a seamstress.

TIA!

Re: Nap mats

  • We got a thick one at Walmart and my grandma made a nap mat cover. When I worked at a daycare, the nap mats would get little holes in them and the kids would lay there and pick at it and make a mess so we got a cover. Not to mention Cooper would sweat a lot if she laid right on it.

Did you get the old school red and blue one?  They have some that are more like sleeping bags, which is what I looked at.

Yes! I thought about making one like I see on Pinterest with pillows and a blanket and it all rolls up but I wasn't sure about washing that. So the removable cover on a thick green and blue mat seemed to be what works best for us.
This is a pic of it before we got a cover. I thought it was red until I went back and looked at this

Offtopic, but OMG, that outfit is adorable!
That's a little different than the one I was thinking- it doesn't look like the slick ones I've seen.  We have the worst WalMart in America- maybe I need to check elsewhere.

  • Etsy has some cute ones! Although some are a bit pricey.

I checked there briefly, but your comment made me look again.  We have a winner!  Thanks, @nicolepatricia87!
