Sharp Pain When Peeing?? Post CS

2 weeks post CS horrible pain when nearing the end of peeing and continues for a few mins after. This is sudden. Had the normal pressure until now. Can anyone relate? I gather my bladder is still a but numb because I don't always realize to I'm very full that I need to pee. Does numbness wearing off have to do with feeling new pain? UTI? Bladder Infection? Normal for CS? If it continues ill be calling the doc tomorrow.

    UTI would be my guess.  Call dr!

    I had it for a week or more post cs.  I drank a lot and tried to remind myself to pee often even if I didn't feel the need to go.  But a catheter can cause UTIs so check with your doctor just in case.

    If it came on suddenly, I'd guess UTI. Call your doc.

    No pain when peeing for me, either. Sometimes I feel a bit more of a pull in my abdominal area towards this end, though.

    I felt the pull with a little bit of pain for a while. I drank a ton of water and went more often and it went away.

    I would have a sharp pain like that when my bladder was almost finished emptying. I don't remember how long it lasted, but I didn't have an UTI.

    Same happened toe about a week post c section. Midwife said I wasn't peeing enough. Reminded myself to pee more often and went away :)

    Just went to doc...not showing as UTI but gave me a short run on amoxicillin to be safe in case it was just starting. Just to drink like crazy and pee often.

    I had this after my section. My doctor said it was common to have this pain after a section and it would pass in a few days. I drank a lot of water and cranberry juice just in case.
