This does look easy I have made from scratch but I usually make my cheat version I learned from grandma. However, yours looks better! Mine just ground hamburger mix in frozen veggies with couple cans of vegetable soup then mash potatoes(However you want to make them) on top then in the oven for a bit.
I skipped the "brown the cheese in the oven" step, mostly because I was wearing baby at that point. It was really good! And Ore-Ida sells frozen "steam and mash" potatoes - I had no idea!
Let's publish one of those cookbooks like they sell at churches. We can call it the J13 and sell it to all the other boards. The proceeds can pay for our planned get togethers! HA!

Yep, amazing for times when you don't feel like peeling, boiling and mashing them. I don't even get out the hand mixer, I just mash them with whatever that hand held masher thingy is called, lol.
