Babies: 6 - 9 Months

Go back to sleeeepp

30 minutes is not a nap, child.  Since we've gotten out of the sleep suit, we've decided we're too cool for naps. Aside from the 6 month growth spurt, which was 3 days of nap heaving, I'm lucky to get 45 minutes out of her in 2 weeks.  Thinking it's a combo of allmmosstt crawling but not quite and being more aware that mommy is so sososo much fun.

Sleep child, mommy needs to make your food and have some coffee.

  • Feel ya.. we're now too cool to sleep at night.  We want to party at 2am!  Mommy is so so tired.

  • Girl, try a baby that takes 20 minute naps maybe 3 times a day. ;)

I'd imagine that would be quite a transition though!

  • no not a nap.. I agree please go back to sleep. Both of mine do this all the time and so crabby until they make up that lost sleep.

  • DD#1 did that until I sleep trained around 9 or 10 months. DD#2 does the same thing 3 30 minute naps. I plan to do sleep training with her too but we are not ready yet.

  • My daughter sleep 30 minutes ONCE a day... and still gets up 3 times a night. (She is 7 m/o) I have no idea what to do. I'm exhausted...
  • Loving Brooklyn, I have the exact same issue with my son. He is 6 months, cat naps once maybe twice a day from 10-30  minutes and is up 3 times a night. I would love any tips anyone has.
  • that's insane ...i'm sorry :( definitely puts my nap problems into perspective

  • LovingBrooklyn and angdan127, I'm in the same boat, my 8 month old went from taking 2 hour naps in the morning and afternoon and only waking once at night to NO nap at daycare, a maybe 30-40 minute nap on the way home and waking up 3-4 times a night. I don't know what to do, I'm so tired. I blame teeth, if anyone has advice I'd love to hear them!
