Baby jogger versa

Anyone have the baby jogger versa? If so, which infant carrier do you have?

Re: Baby jogger versa

  • There are two adaptors for the Versa.  One is more universal and fits Peg Perego, Maxi Cosi, Chicco, Cybex, Graco and Evenflo car seats.  There is a separate adaptor for Britax infant seats.

It is wise to choose the infant car seat based on how it will fit in your vehicle.  What vehicle do you have?

  • We have a Cadillac srx so there is a fair amount of room. I did a bit more research and found the universal adapter. Now to figure out which carseat.
  • The top rated seats are the Chicco Keyfit30, the Britax B-Safe and the Graco Snugride 30.

  • I'll chime in and just say that I love the Keyfit.  So easy to use and install.

Also, if you decide to get the bassinet for the Versa... skip the Baby Jogger one and get the Britax one with the Britax car seat adapters.  It's WAY cheaper and it accomplishes the same thing.  You just click the Britax bassinet into the car seat adapters.  And if you do decide to the Britax car seat, you could use the adapters to switch between both.  I only mention this because I am on a stroller board and this came up recently as a much cheaper method to use a bassinet on the Versa.

Yeah, but the Versa is a much better stroller than the Britax IMO.  It has 4 wheels vs three, the seat can face you or out.

  • I think what @ebp913 was trying to say, is that the Britax bassinet & Britax car seat both attach onto the Versa, using the same carseat adaptors and you'd save money because the Britax bassinet is sugnificantly less expensive than the bassinet by Baby Jogger.
