I was invited to a wedding on facebook today. I looked up their registry and they registered at Target. The registry has their last name (an uncommon one), the wedding date, AND the town they're getting married in (which is a very small town in Kentucky). So there's no doubt this is their registry.
They registered for almost 300 things including pregnancy tests, lube, condoms, a mason jar, toothpaste, and sugarless gum.
Re: s/o facebook invites, registries
I wasn't going to go but this wedding may be the classiest thing ever, I don't know how I can miss it.
Well then nevermind! @-)
I guess I'm thinking more of the gifts I usually get is a serious gift
for the bridal shower a nice wedding survival gift basket and I buy gag gifts for the bachelorette party ( usually lube a vibrator and body paints or other stuff that makes the bride blush). I'm also the open perv of my group.
I know that with my baby registry, if someone gave the cashier the registry info to have a gift taken off and then also bought some random other things for themselves, those random things showed up on my registry.
If this is what happened to them, you should let them know ASAP! If this is the case, how freaking embarrassing!
But maybe they are just weirdos.
There's only one registry at both stores with his last name, so it's not like a joke one, either. I can't believe they're serious. I might need to get a sitter, if these are the gifts they're expecting.
