S/O ergo ?

I've been trying to figure out what to get for hiking and walking the dogs. Is it easy to adjust the ergo? Also I have back issues; do you think it balances the weight evenly?

    The only issue I would see is that K gets hot in the Ergo sometimes, so a hike (unless the weather is cool) might be hot.

    I won a Kokopax carrier (This) and it is great for hiking and offers better back support. However, it is pricey.

    I love my Ergo so so much, but I would definitely use the Kokopax for hiking.

    It's really easy to adjust the Ergo. I have a bad back and it's very easy on my back; carrying DS is harder!

    I still haven't figured an easy way to clip the top clip on your back.  I think maybe I am doing it backwards and I need to put it on first with the top clasp closed and then slip LO up and through the front before clipping the waist clip?  I always need H's help with the upper clip on my back!  I have a hard time getting it off too.  Other than that, I LOVE my Ergo!

    Yes, it distributes the weight evenly.  I have used it a lot for walking the dogs and hikes.  I have worn her front and back and the ergo works for both me and my DH even though there is a big size difference.
