Preference?

Does your LO show a preference for you or your SO in general or for certain things?

Since we are EBF ing LO definitely prefers me for anything bedtime related while she doesn't mind who changes her or bathes her. I'm sure once she is w weaned though she will be a daddy's girl.

hmm good question, I think he really likes playing with his dad, but he definitely needs me for bedtime and naps

My daughter is a daddy's girl so she wants to be with her daddy from the time he gets home from work until he goes to bed so anything that happens between that time she wants him to do. she even wakes up with him at 4 in the morning during the week and 5 on saturdays.

For just hanging out and having fun probably my husband, but for anything soothing related, it seems to be me. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure I like where we're going with this. I want to be the "fun" one too :-( LOL

It's really nice that my baby likes me so much...but for the last couple of weeks, she wants me for everything, all the time. My husband often ends up holding a crying baby for 45 minutes when I leave the house to go for a run or do an errand.

She's decided that bottles are the worst and that being held by other people is only cool for a couple of minutes. Boo. It's not really much fun to get a break now when I know that my two favorite people are miserable the whole time I'm gone.

Me me me, I'm home with him all day and he still always wants me. He loves to play with his daddy but he always stares at me and smiles my hubby gets jealous. But I jut say maybe you need to spend more time with him

Mostly she seems to prefer me (YAY!) but she WILL.NOT.BURP. if I'm holding her. She must get Daddy snuggles, or she'll hold it in.
I figure I better enjoy being the "favorite" now because she'll probably hate me during her teen years!

When she is hungry, she will literally push DH in the face to get to me. On the other hand, DH can get Lily to smile just by looking at her and I have to work for it.

Exact same for me! Sometimes I am sad she smiles for him more than me - I even cried about it the other day (damn hormones!)- but that has been changing slowly.
