Pregnant after 35

Bored

I'm about to admit that I am laying in bed in my underwear and I am bored out of my mind. I still have so much to do but I just have NO energy whatsoever. (Those of you still working can hate me now.)

I should be trying to accomplish something, anything! But every time I get up my body just says, "Ya, I don't think so..." So here I am lurking the boards and posting funny stuff on Facebook. I suppose I should be thankful for these final moments of peace and quite. But seriously, I am SO FLIPPING BORED!! Somebody smack me LOL. I'm ashamed to admit I'm 40 years old because I'm acting like a lazy 20 year old sitting here with my nose in my iPhone and my little stash of lemon shortbread cookies. Sigh. I suppose we all get a few hall passes, right?
Me:41, DH:41 Positive for MTHFR mutations- one copy C677T, one copy A1298C. One daughter born on Thanksgiving in 2013. Six losses.

I'm 30 weeks. I was feeling pretty energetic in second tri but that exhaustion is creeping back in now. And my brain feels like mush. I'm so unmotivated I don't even want to put clothes on. *Hangs head in shame.

LOL does this require actually using brain cells? Because I think mine have shrunk down to nothing. Again, *Hangs head in shame.

  • Early in my pregnancy I felt all the fatigue around 15-20 wks I'm hoping it does not come back.
  • I hoped I might get lucky but it looks like third tri will be every bit the challenge I expected. I'm hoping it will come in phases so I can have some better days to really get things done before November.

Pfft you have lots of brain cells! Most of the are just screaming "baby!" Sometimes it can be tricky, but mostly its endurance of how far down an Australian highway you can manage to go until you get to a sign... then the annoyance of it being blurred. *grins*

I too am due in November but this is my second.  I am tired all the time since I sleep for crap these days due to my hip getting pins and needles in the middle of the night and having to pee at 4 am.  Just wait till the nesting phase sets in.  You will clean like you have never cleaned before and crap has to get done IMMEDIAETLY or someone is going to get hurt!!!!!  Or at least that is what happened to me when I was pregnant with my 1st.  It is already starting with this one but we just finished up a huge addition and I want my house back in order .......YESTERDAY :)  I am jealous you get to be home.  I still have to work :(

Enjoy and nap some for me please :)
