I am right around 13 1/2 weeks. I'm not showing just yet but I feel like I will soon need to tell my boss. However, I am a little nervous to do so. When did you tell your boss you were expecting?
I did around 16 weeks. I was a little nervous, but it just seemed like the practical thing to do. I worked standard hours 8-5, which is also the only time my OB scheduled appointments. Flex time was something they offered, but you had to get it pre-approved. I didn't want to use vacation time to go to Dr appointments when I could just come in an hour early and leave an hour early. We were also expected to lift heavy boxes (40-50 lbs) every once in a while, which I needed help with.
I kept it private from every one else in the office until I couldn't hide my bump with loose clothes anymore, around 24 weeks or so.
I had to tell them around 7 weeks, because I was soooo sick and having to work from home a lot. They had known I had miscarried last year, so it didn't come as a complete shock to them. They kept my secret until around 13 weeks when I was okay with it getting out.
I told at 11 weeks because people were already talking so figured I would tell my boss before he heard it from someone else. Again depends on your company and if your taking a lot of time off as well. If people said nothing I would of kept it a secret from my company for as long as possible since I had issues at the end of my pregnancy last time around while working here and they are already talking about what if's this time around.

I told my boss around 12 weeks. I didn't want to seem like i was hiding it and i was already beginning to show a pouch. My boss has known me for a while so switching to baggy clothes would have been very obvious so I told him. He was very supportive even though i was worried about how he'd react. Good luck!
I was around 8 weeks actually. And I only told her this early because the type of work I do requires me lift and care for individuals with special needs. Both my supervisor and co-workers have been very understanding with me not being able to do everything during the crucial first 3 months such as lifts. When I told my supervisor she squeeled with excitement, so I had a great reaction from her and she's been very excited ever since I told her
I probably would have waited until 2nd tri to share the news, but I work in a medical field so I had to let everyone know as soon as I got my BFP because I couldn't assist with x-rays or waking patients up from anesthesia.
I'm 14.5 weeks and have been putting it off. I'll tell either at the end of this week or next week so 15 or 16 weeks. We were waiting for the NT scan and Panorama test results before telling anyone not immediate family. I've had quite a few half days for appointments but no raised eyebrows yet.
I actually told my HR lady first at 9 weeks because I was feeling so sick I was worried about an explanation to my boss and others if I ever had to be out or leave early. I let her know I would tell my direct boss at 10 weeks for the same purpose I asked them both to keep it personal until I was ready to tell the rest of my coworkers and then at I let others that I worked closely to know at 13 weeks and let it trickle out from there
I was 7w....but I was in total shock and had no idea how far along I was and was so bloated I looked pregnant by then. My boss kept my secret until after I saw baby's heartbeat on the screen at 10w. then I was ready to share with the entire office.
I told at 14 weeks. It's really up to you and how comfortable you feel with your boss. I was starting to show so I didn't think I could keep it a secret much longer.
I told at 9 weeks, but I have a very specific job that required taking staffing into thought far in advance of my leave. I told my team at 14ish weeks, but most of them had me figured out by then.
I told my boss a few days after I found out. First of all, I'm in the military and it's required by regulation to tell your boss within 24 hours (which I couldn't do because he was on ahead, but I told him as soon as he got back). Also, I have a hazardous job and had to be switched to other duties immediately, and it was important that he know so he could facilitate that.
I have a pretty good relationship with my boss. I just knocked on the door of his office and asked if use had a few minutes. The I just sat down and told him. I had a late first-tri loss last year, which he knew about, so he was ecstatic to hear that I'm pregnant again. He actually said it was the best news he'd heard all week :-). It was kind of cute.
I told my boss when I was about 8 weeks along, I knew I would need time off for appointments and I had been very tired and moody which is not like me at all.

I told my manager at 8 weeks, but she also knew I had a loss just before this. I also did want her to think I was flaky for missing work for doctors appointments. I didn't tell the owner of the company, (its a small company) until I was in my Second trimester (14 weeks).
I told everyone at 8 weeks after seeing the heartbeat at the first sono. I was worried I was going to have to take a day or two off due to morning sickness but ended up trudging through ok.
I'm not working right now, but my SO is taking parental leave, and we had no idea when we needed to tell his work. We told them at about 18 weeks, because they suddenly assigned him a new trainee, and we thought it was best if they knew the trainee would be on his own for several months, and SO didnt want to take on more work than he could finish before he leaves. He's planning on taking 5-9 months off - Go Canada!
