DMV peeps

I've noticed there are quite a few folks on this board in the DMV so I figured I would ask here.  Does anyone have any good ideas of indoor locations for family photos?  I have some good locations for outdoor photos but I would prefer an indoor location. TIA.

    The US Botanic Garden greenhouse near the Capitol would be good. Lots of natural light and foliage, and you wouldn't need coats in winter.

    All of the museums are very cool on the inside, but I don't know how they feel about having a photo shoot set up inside.  We did our maternity photos at the Kennedy Center.

    Call me silly, but I read that dept of motor vehicles... I know you all are in DC area - out of curiousity, what does the DMV stand for?

    I agree, I don't know the policies regarding photos in most of the cool indoor places (library of congress, etc). My list is pretty much outdoor stuff-- we normally do our photos in Annapolis.

    Cherry festival pictures will be fun with our kiddos this year!

    ETA: I don't know about a professional shoot, but pictures in the butterfly room at the natural history museum might be cute?

    Maybe call some of the local historical societies for ideas for free indoor places that will allow photos.

    Thanks ladies for all the suggestions.  Union station was on my short list of one.  LOL.  I guess all people in the DMV don't automatically think department of motor vehicles so sorry for the confusion!  For those that have taken pictures at any of these places do you have get some sort of clearance?
