Hi everyone!
I'm still a deer in headlights so please forgive me.
I'm 6.5 weeks pregnant after months of trying to conceive my 2nd child. We suffered month after month of cp/early mc. Retuned to my re and went through a couple of rounds of IF meds with iui and got pregnant on our second round.
Went in for my ultrasound yesterday. We're expecting triplets. EDD is May 5, 2014.
We were kinda feeling there were 2 since I had 2 mature follies but never expected 3. I'm excited and nervous and concerned. I would love any support from other multiple moms

TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
Congrats! I have just a few bits of advice for you. Keep in mind, I am expecting twin boys in December, so am 26 weeks.
1. Look at your feet now. Before you know it you won't be able to see them unless you lean WAY forward. Or look in a mirror.
2. Enjoy the ability to tie your own shoes while you can. I'm to the point that I can't unless I sit on a bed and bring my leg close to tie them, bending over is not an option anymore for me.
3. Invest in one of those bath spongies-on-a-stick thingers. And liquid soap. You'll thank me for the suggestion later.
4. Take a picture of your belly (side shot) every week. Starting now. I started at 15 weeks and the change I see is amazing. You don't ever have to show anyone other than those living in your house, but it'll be a great reminder of what your body USED to look like, and how amazing your body is to bring forth those adorable babies, and how beautiful your body is (despite any new imperfections) once they are here.
5. Just sit back and smile at all the idiots that make negative comments. eg: How'd this happen? Are they natural? It'll be soooo hard, you're never going to be able to do it alone.
Just smile at them and flip them off in your mind, knowing that God trusted you with these little blessings because He knew that you CAN do it!
Any other advice from me would have to wait until after mine are actually here.
I do hope you got a bit of a chuckle out of this!!! I may add more later. ha ha ha

Oh, here are some more:
6. Enjoy sleeping on your back or stomach now (if you currently do so). There will come a time very soon that you will dream about these days, wishing you could sleep on your stomach or back. (Ok, you can lay on your back for a bit, but it gets uncomfortable/painful)
7. Invest in a good pillow. I hear some like body pillows, some like regular pillows, some like travel pillows. Doesn't matter what you like, but make sure you like it. It will become your friend when you sleep. From laying it between your knees to wedging it under your growing belly for support. If you travel, don't leave home without it!
8. If you get morning sickness (who am I kidding...all day sickness) don't be afraid to try different suggestions. Some worked for others but not me, some worked for me but not others. Just know that it WILL pass, even if it feels like it never will.
9. Don't be "too good" for second hand clothing (in good condition). We went to rummage sales this past weekend and found some name brand baby clothes (not why we went, but they were just so dang cute) for $1-2 a piece. Ended up spending $60 total all weekend for clothing that would have cost upwards of $400.
10. Someone WILL critique your every move. How often you are seeing the doctor, how often you are NOT seeing the doctor, whether you choose to breast feed or not, whether or not you are going to work or stay at home. Just remember, this is YOUR family, and repeat #5, "Just sit back and smile while flipping them off in your mind".
For the record, I will give advice but whether people use it or not, that's their choice. What works for me may not work for you but hearing what I did in my situation may give you a better or different idea of something that will work for you and your family. All I can (and will definitely) do for you that I know will help is to pray for a happy and healthy pregnancy and delivery.
