I have to say the instructor was a snooze. I think I learned a couple things but DH just bought me the book "So thats what they're there for" which Im betting will be even more useful. Maybe the only bright Idea I got from the class was feeding the baby to empty one breast then if he cant finish the other one pump it dry and save it for when I'm back to work. Oh and It might have scared me a little with all the PPD talk. Anyone take the class and get some good input?

Block feeding is good to fix an oversupply, but only if you don't pump on the opposite side.
As for stashes, you can always start one free your supply is a little more regulated. But to start out pimping everytime you feed or even occassionally is just, in my opinion, a recipe for exhaustion and painful oversupply problems, both of which may lead to giving up on breastfeeding earlier than you had planned to.
She also talked a lot about finding your rhythm vs. trying to stick to a schedule. Sounds like a good POV.
