Meat for kids sandwiches

I wanna start incorprating meat (ham, turkey) in the girls sandwiches. Which kind/brand do you buy? Do you stick with nitrite-free meats?

we do Boar's Head ever roast chicken- DD loves it!
we also do the Boar's Head tavern ham sometimes

Deli counter at the regular grocery store or Whole Foods. The stuff at WF is nitrate free.

I like the deli counters best but I get hillshire farms too. Right now we have a bunch of pastrami in the fridge. Reubens...yeah!

I buy the oven roasted turkey lunch meat at my grocery store. It's store made and has no preservatives. Sometimes I roast a chicken and slice it thin for sandwiches.

At the deli counter. It's fresher and nitrate free.

Hillshire Farms here. I hate deli meat and won't eat it myself, but he likes it and it's quick/cheap/easy lunch protein.

I buy boars head at the deli, whatever is on sale. Some kind of Turkey or chicken. Its like $9 a lb at the grocery store, and about $6.50 a lb at a little deli in town.
