  It takes quite a while for them to get all the way up.  It seemed to sometimes bother DS when they were newly through, but before long it would stop...and be on to the next darn tooth about to cut

  DS would typically shows signs of discomfort for the first 3-5 days when he's cutting a new tooth.. molars are worse, because they take longer to actually cut through.. parts will cut through at a time -- they are pure hell!  Usually once the whole tooth has broken the surface, like I said, it's only a couple of days before he stops chewing on things like a puppy.. but, it can sometimes take weeks before the tooth comes all the way in.. like Junebug said, it's hard to tell because usually shortly after one has fully cut, another will start!! Teething is a cycle that seems to never end!!!

  Phoebe really only seemed to be bothered when she cut the first tooth about 2 weeks ago. Now the two bottom look like theyre about halfway up. I don't think it bothers her as it progresses but there is definitely still tons of drooling.

  I've noticed with Jackson cutting through is the worst part. And it typically takes at least 2 weeks ( in our case) to fully come out. If not longer.
