  Normally when you miss your period and your test is pregnant you are 4 weeks along. So, 2 weeks would be around O assuming you have a perfect cycle...which I do not.

  I just saw that today in the store and was wondering why I had never heard of them before. Seems unnecessary but I'm sure many people will buy them just to see what they should already know.

  The numbers actually stand for number of weeks since conception, not the same as how an OB will date your pregnancy based on last menstrual cycle.  According to the official website:
  1-2= 3-4 weeks pregnant
  2-3= 4-5 weeks pregnant
  3+= more than 5 weeks pregnant
  
  There are 2 strips inside.  One is a  high sensitivity strip (25iu) that triggers the "pregnant" vs. "not pregnant reading.  This strip does not have a control line, only a test line.  So 1 line=pregnant. 
  
  There is a 2nd strip that has a control line and a test line.  This is a low sensitivity strip (i believe 100-200 iu, but I'm not sure exactly).  The difference in pigment on these two lines is read by a sensor and produces the 1-2, 2-3, or 3+ reading.  I have concluded that your HCG needs to be 2000+ to get a 3+ reading.
  
  This information is based on excessive and unhealthy internet research and personal experience with peeing on sticks.  So. many. sticks.

  Like PP said I don't really see the point since they only go up to 3 weeks post conception.  I would only see them useful if they went higher and then you could use it for those I didn't know I was pregnant scenarios...BOOM 18 weeks..schedule your anatomy scan

  GM is right. They've been on the market in some parts of Canada and Europe for a little while and now they're available here.
