NSAHMR: Front Loading Washers

I'm on both here and WM as I am transitioning from WM to SAHM over the next few months. Since this board has more traffic I'm posting here. We need to get front loaders. I've done research (CR, etc) but there really don't seem to be standout differences, and of course, there are like a million different model numbers and not all are tested. I'm down to the Whirlpool 96HEA or whatever or the Electrolux 4.3 CU one (I60 or something). Opinions? Anyone have these? Love, hate? They both have good user reviews. I am leaning towards the Electrolux b/c even though Whirlpool has better online rankings from Consumer Reports, the store I'm using says that Electrolux has worked out great for them and has much better service if something does go wrong. AND, Electrolux has a 32 minute wash time (or something like that) instead of the standard 50 for Whirlpool. And a better steam tray configuration. The wash time is what's really pushing me in the Electrolux direction. Thoughts or opinions? TIA.

    We just had an appliance repair man out to the house this past weekend and he recommended to buy American. He explained that parts are cheaper and easier to get, more people can repair them, etc. he also said to only buy bells and whistles that you will use since they just raise the price considerably.
