Missed you guys!

I just wanted to say that I missed you all while on maternity leave.  I started back to work today so back to bumping.. I mean working!  I hope everyone had a wonderful summer!  We are gearing up for quarter end right now, and then the holidays will be here before we know it.  What is everyone up to?!

    Welcome back! It's been kinda quiet here I think. The mandatory "can I work from home while caring for my baby" posts about once a week or so. Some daycare issues and colleague issues but mostly no big drama. Unless I missed something (?). So what are your childcare arrangements right now for the "brood"? Did your daughter start K this year or did she miss the cut-off?

    LOVE those "can I work from home and watch my baby at the same time" posts!  Right now DH is home in the mornings and we have our au pair to help out when DH sleeps (he works nights).  All is well except that I don't really want to be here, but that's not new!  DD1 started K this year (our cut off is some time in December) and DD2 started preschool yesterday!  Only two little ones at home for 1/2 the day, I don't think DH knows what to do with himself!

    I'm one of the "I work because I have to" people... that being said it's going as well as could be expected.  I don't want to be here, I miss my kids so much :(  but I know working is what's best for them, and I'm trying to remember that.

    I wish we could move closer to work, that is awesome if you could do it!  How far is your commute right now?  Mine is 45 min, including rush hour traffic.

    Congrats on the new little one! Welcome back, but sorry you're back at work. Hugs...hopefully it will feel okay overall. I know you have plenty of experience but it only gets easier up to a point, huh?
