REALLY effective birth control!!! (PSA)

Hey guys I wanted to tell you all about Skyla, the IUD I had inserted three weeks ago!  It REALLY does it's job preventing more babies, especially when your doctor cuts the strings in such a way that it STABS YOUR HUSBAND'S PENIS when he tries to have sex with you!  

When I went to the doctor because SURELY THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH A DEVICE THAT STABS MY HUSBAND'S PENIS he said "persevere and try some new positions."  So I am finding a new doctor.  Make sure if you get one of these things that your doctor isn't an idiot and doesn't cut the strings like this.  Also, be warned, Skyla strings apparently take six months to "soften" according to the same doctor.  Neat.

    Ridiculous. The doctor won't cut back the strings? Mine have cut the extra short both times bc dh insists the IUD is falling out and "stabbing him like a dagger."
    He claimed that if he cut the strings any shorter it would be extremely difficult to ever remove the IUD.

    Wow!!! Lmfao. Thanks for the PSA we're shopping for BC as well. Maybe I'll get the one that goes in the arm instead....

    Sorry, but this post literally made me LOL.  Apparently Skyla is the new chastity belt.  Ain't nobody getting up in there unless they want to be inflicted with penile harm.

    I had mirena before and my doc kept the string longer because she sd it allows for them to be swept to the side and not be too short and poky. She said if cut short there is nothing you can do to make it better. She showed me on a demo unit how the strings feel and showed my how hubby can safely sweep the strings aside if he could feel them. He sd he could feel them but they did not hurt.
