How bad is your pregnancy brain lately?

Mine is probably pregnancy brain combined with major lack of sleep due to DS waking up every other night at 2am & keeping me up for a couple hours.

Yesterday I started having a major headache early in the day. Since my car accident last year, I feel them come on when my neck starts to tense up as hard as a rock. I took out 2 Tylenol on my way out to lunch. A few hours later, I was getting upset because the Tylenol wasn't seeming to make a dent in my pain at all. Looking at the clock it was still too early to take anymore. I got home & reached into my pocket to find 2 Tylenol. I apparently never took them...

I guess it makes me feel a little better about my brain that I have the headache again today, but I DID take the Tylenol this time for sure! So maybe I would have felt that way anyway.

How has your pregnancy brain been lately? Putting strange things in the fridge? Completely forgetting something you usually do every day?

Putting cereal boxes in the fridge, forgetting what I did 5 minutes ago or where I put something, and even lately having a hard time focusing enough to get an explanation out when asked a simple question. Too much on my mind and not enough blood flow to the brain! I feel your pain!

I usually enjoy posting "Today's instance of baby brain..." thread but sadly have forgotten ARGH go figure!

So Today's instance of baby brain is putting the 4 pack of greek yogurt in the freezer instead of fridge (yesterday) after grocery shopping. I hope thawing them out doesn't make them funky!

@climbrgal - I have totally done this. Took me all day to figure out why I thought I looked so wierd to myself each time I looked in the mirror! LOL

I even left he front door open with my keys in the lock the other day. Didn't even notice!

Obviously my brain doesn't want me to shut anything nowadays...

@Amylou33 - I have noticed this myself. I'll finally sit down to eat something & look up & see I didn't close a single cabinet after unloading the dishwasher.. then didn't close a sinlge one after searching for what I wanted to eat!

Last week I forgot how to address an envelope....wrote everything, name, address, zip all on one line, then couldn't figure out why it looked weird.

This week, went half a day not being able to remember a co-worker's name, with whom I've worked for 2.5 years. Only remembered it when someone else said it out loud [-O<

Last night I opened a can of baked beans to go with dinner, put them in a pan, and then filled the pan with water. Oops. DH finished making dinner after that.

I caught myself putting clorox wipes in the freezer. I was talking to my mom about their spider problem in their basement and told her she needed to just call a terminator already. She started laughing and said that he was probably busy. I just kept on talking not even realizing what I said

I panicked the other day, as I was driving, because I thought I forgot how to drive.

I have been adding and subtracting words to sentences that don't make any sense.

Also asking the same question 20 times because I don't remember if I actually asked it. SO loves that one.

DH makes fun of me for this: I will be mid-sentence and completely forget what I was saying. Like, "Well, this weekend Mom and I are going to...um, what was I saying? Something about the dog? or the kids? um...I'm so confused!" (DH just sits there laughing to the point he can't remember either!)

@Jen4033- That only happens if DH keeps me up till after midnight when I'm not pregnant. Otherwise, when pregnant, it's a common occurrence.

I walk into our breakroom instead of walking into the bathroom! UMmmmmMMM.. I need to pee, not eat.. Ohhhh but I am hungry!

I just stare at my boyfriend when he is talking to me, like I can't compute what he is saying!! he just shakes his head... LOL
